What are you listening to now?

Your favourite Ariana Grande Songs ?

Im from Pakistan -.

Ah, didn't know. Nice!

Have to admit though, Coke Studio has been so dominating over the last few years. The singers coming through are so good. Hopefully, some can release full albums.

@Deadpool. , @Jack Ryder; didn't know that so many of you appreciated Coke Studio Pakistan?

Pak Coke Studio is 10x better than India's.... And nearly all indians accept that.... And one more thing Indians love Urdu songs more than Hindi songs...

Lol what is the difference between Hindi and urdu songs? Urdu songs have same hindi words in them with additional persian and arabic words. Also not many people in India watch coke studio whether indian or pakistani one.

Not true at all. Coke Studio is pretty big with songs like Tajdar-e-Haram and Afreen Afreen garnering over 60 million views (to name a couple). More importantly, it helps young artists come to the spotlight. A lot of songs from both countries have meaning and emotion which is currently lacking in all the current batch of Bollywood "hits" especially Qawali/Sufi music.

It is one of the strong points of Pakistani industry, and with good movies now making a comeback it will seriously impact the industry in a positive manner.

On the point of Urdu, it is a similar language but more different from what you expect. A lot of it has adapted to Hindi due to the presence of Bollywood but I honestly find it a more subtle and gentle dialect from Hindi with some great words that really complement the songs.

Current Bollywood songs r mostly rubbish no doubt about that apart from few exceptions here and there. Many of the old hindi songs from 1950-1980 were the best.

Only thing I don't like about Coke Studio is the fake acting as if it's happening live like playing instruments, don't we all know that it is pre-recorded?

MTV Unplugged was pretty good especially the KK episode(all time favourite singer) where he actually did sing live, that is something which is missing in Coke Studio(auto tuned, pre-recorded). India's Coke Studio has basically ruined some good songs.
