Republicans have Senate, House, Supreme Court and White House. If you're a liberal in the USA, the next four years won't be a good time. No checks and balances for Trump. Just imagine that.

I think a point also does need to be raised on the electoral system where all but 2 states are winner take all which leads to candidates only fighting and campaigning hard in 7 or 8 battleground states and they essentially decide the election, either split the electoral votes everywhere like Maine and Nebraska based on the margin of victory or completely do away with the system as a whole seeing as 2 times in just 16 years it has prevented 2 candidates from winning the election even though they won the popular vote. Of course this would need to be a bipartisan issue for anything to happen and for that we need the same to happen to the Republicans... [HASHTAG]#Kanye2020[/HASHTAG]

Some updates for those across the Atlantic and the Pacific, protests have broke out in every major liberal city (Los Angeles, New York, Seattle, Chicago, Portland, Philadelphia and Boston) with Californians leading the charge on a possible secession under the banner "Calexit", it was already a thing prior to the election and Trump being elected has only added fuel to the fire with Silicon Valley billionaires vowing to fund the campaign...
