I am pleased to announce that Warwickshire Bears beat AshXI by a massive 314 runs. A superb first innings from the Warwickshire Bears saw them bag a massive 399 runs, for just 2 wickets. Openers Crossley (109) and Colley (102) batted superbly well, and then Stamp (104*) camer in and completed a hat trick of centuries for the top 3 batsman. Captain and Wicket Keeper Brooks came in and knocked a solid 77* to complete a very successful innings.
AshXI came out with a mountain to climb, and they never really got going, eventually getting bowled out for just 85, with 6 wickets from what has t be said Warwickshire Bear's worst bowler Woodward, who was only cover until I decide to get a new bowler in. Spinner and probably my best bowler, Puch polished off the rest to seal a fantastic start to the tournament.

Also, I must add, after being very tired, my best player Rowntree (18yrs old, BT Rating= 19000) didn't bat or bowl, which makes the victory all the more impressive. But you can guarentee Rowntree to take a more involved part in the coming fixtures after gatting his fitness levels back up so he doesn't die Which he would have done if WC hadn't pointed out his fitness levels were 'drained'.
