I am pleased to announce that Warwickshire Bears beat AshXI by a massive 314 runs. A superb first innings from the Warwickshire Bears saw them bag a massive 399 runs, for just 2 wickets. Openers Crossley (109) and Colley (102) batted superbly well, and then Stamp (104*) camer in and completed a hat trick of centuries for the top 3 batsman. Captain and Wicket Keeper Brooks came in and knocked a solid 77* to complete a very successful innings.
AshXI came out with a mountain to climb, and they never really got going, eventually getting bowled out for just 85, with 6 wickets from what has t be said Warwickshire Bear's worst bowler Woodward, who was only cover until I decide to get a new bowler in. Spinner and probably my best bowler, Puch polished off the rest to seal a fantastic start to the tournament.

Also, I must add, after being very tired, my best player Rowntree (18yrs old, BT Rating= 19000) didn't bat or bowl, which makes the victory all the more impressive. But you can guarentee Rowntree to take a more involved part in the coming fixtures after gatting his fitness levels back up so he doesn't die ;) Which he would have done if WC hadn't pointed out his fitness levels were 'drained'.

After doing pretty well last season, my team doing bad this season, just like a typical Sub-Continental team :p

Well played by Griffo's team. Hope my team does better in the next game!
