The Bloods are back! -- FM2008. Week 1 & 2 Posted!

For the 3rd time in as many seasons, Droylsden FC announced that Lee Sweetman was to take over the reigns at Droylsden. The Bloods managed to stay in the conference for a season, until they were relegated again whilst under charge from Dave Pace, 'Pacey' then got Droylsden promoted again, and this time, the Bloods board said they would prefer it if Lee took over again, as he had another chance to show his worth to the Droylsden Faithfull.

The team that Lee Sweetman will be managing, will be posted soon.​

Quick update:

Lee Sweetman has splashed the cash at Droylsden as he feels the team he originally had was an un-acceptable standard for the conference, so here are the players he has brought in to the Butchers Arms:

Lee Sweetman has just completed his press conference about taking over as manager of Droylsden FC. Here it is in full:

Sam (Sky Sports): Hi Lee, congratulations on getting the job at Droylsden, how do you feel?

Lee: "Im glad to be a part of the Droylsden set up, and Im confident that with the players I have brought in, we can gain Promotion to league 2."

Sam: "Who do you feel is your biggest signing?"

Lee: "I think it has got to be Gavin Hoyte from Arsenal. He is a wonderful talent, and i think he can help us massivley"

Sam: "So, how come you have brought all these players in?

Lee: "No offence to the crop of players that brought us up, but I just don't think we would have had the overall talent to stay in the conference"

Sam: "Do you plan to bring any one else in?"

Lee : "Yes, I have a few more people in mind, but Im not releasing any names"

Sam: "With only 7 days until the start of your first league game, do you think everything is going ok?"

Lee: "Yes, everything is going fine. So Bring on Torquay!"

Sam: "Thanks for your time Lee!"​
