You want to wait two and a half more weeks?

Are those from PC or consoles?

Here's some gameplay from the PC version:

Very bad video quality though, but the gameplay doesn't look too bad :).

There's some console gameplay in the little box at the top right here:
www.eafootballworld.com
(look at Day 1 Video 4, very good :))

There are various other console gameplay videos:

Also, here is some information regarding the "Live seasons" feature:
http://www.fifasoccerblog.com/2008/08/exclusive-fifa-09-live-season-pricing.html

All looks very impressive to me, looks like they have fixed all the annoyances from FIFA 08 and added more, can't wait to play it :).

One league is free for the season, and others cost either ?4.99 each or ?12.99 for the lot - not too expensive, but as I don't follow foreign football much, just the Premiership will be fine for me :). Very good feature I think.

Good feature, but they shouldn't charge us for it when we've payed ?30 for the game!

They're from the console mate, you're really clutching at straws if you think that's the PC version lol

As long as it'll still be possible to download updated rosters for all teams (for free). I want my whole roster updated, not just the Premiership teams.

It does sound good, I just wish you didn't have to pay for it.

Edit: That YouTube PC video you posted is saying it's no longer available, can you tell me if they've done anything about the aerial battles or ball physics, going by that video?

Just get the Premier League for free then. Simple alternative.

Didn't see this page initially, and was going to ask, does nobody else see a problem with paying a fair bit of money for a game after you've already paid £40 for the game., I'll just get the premiership for free, but its a rip off, when everyone knows full well it will be advertised as part of the game.

I do. Now, if EA were giving us the option to d/l new leagues/stadiums/tournaments, then I might be happy to pay a few quid. Otherwise, I think I'll just stick with the free Premiership update.

It's better than not having it at all - If you don't pay for it then you're still getting one more league of the feature than you were in FIFA 08 (or any other football game for that matter).
Yeah, but you are paying at least ?30 to get the new game, so new features should be expected.

Anyone heard what the PS3 exclusive mode is yet?
