Only one direct header, but some awesome goals with a cross, like a one in which the ball went just in the perfect zone and drogba puts the ball in the nets with one running kick.

I think Fifa 09 is pretty good actually, much better than 08. I am going to get it in one form or another.

Still think i will prefer Pes though.

I would reserve that opinion till the time I play the PES demo matt, probably that's why I haven't commented even once about PES > FIFA or vice versa!

Ahh young Kskitiz, if you notice i said i think. I won't say for sure until i have played it.

All i do know is i thought the gameplay on fifa 08 PC version was crap, and the football is rubbish. Fifa 09 is better!

Well i downloaded the 360 demo and i gotta say, what an improvement!!

FINALLY EA HAVE FIXED THE RESPONSIVENESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Other things which are cool are headers, you actually have to time them now. The AI is improved, players make leads and call for the ball and shooting looks and feels much better.

Might be just the demo, but the crowd looked pathetic.

Downloaded the Demo for PS3 and am very impressed, probably heightened by my disappointment of PES 2008 but there we go.

Shows commentary is needed though, didn't particularly like the crowd in appearance or audio.

Very surprised people don't like the crowds. Visually, they are 10x better than they were before, but they still don't roar as much as they should do.

Yeh, I never trust the opinions of professional game testers, who earn a living reviewing games and have a fantastic knowledge of the gaming industry. The people from Gamesmaster happen to be big football fans, and I know this from reading the mag a few years back. If the games bad they'll say so. Even with all the hype about Fifa 07 they gave it 70odd% even though other magazines were giving it good scores. They're also not biased towards Fifa as they've been massive PES fans for years, and it's a multiformat magazine so they won't give games good reviews to get people to buy it for their console.
