Your Cricket Describe your Style

Bowling: Right arm rubbish with tennis ball. Medium, Medium Slow, Offbreak, Top Spinners, whatever. Legspin with the hard ball.
Batting: Slog, slog slog. With hard ball it's just survival.
Fielding: Don't break a finger.

That means you're not that Attacking Jit

Yes but I play for the team if we are in great postion I will try to keep up the run rate up and if not then i will play sensbily like knocking the ball around for singles.

Batting: Shahid Afridi (need i say more)
Bowling: Off spin, kind of good, can break partnerships but normally get hit around abit.

Batting:
Opening Bat, defensive style, see off the new ball with singles then maybe look for the odd boundary

Bowling:
Part time medium, big swing of the ball, front on action. mainly bowl in middle to late overs, look for LBW or bowled

Fielding:
Slip/short cover/mid on/back up keeper. not ultra fast over ground, or reat arm, but can catch a bit, diving is not a problem

Ok Rahul Dravid type Guy.I am a bit attacking at whichever situation I come I always attack the ball. It's my natural game

Thats more like Virendra Sehwag....Not Ricky Ponting!

Attack means not every ball for a six or four attack means Stealing quick singles an doubles and bash the loose ball

LOL Leggie when I was a captain of the Under 16 team I remember I had a few bad fielders and I tried to hide them in the positions like 3rd Man,FIne Leg,Gully etc.

darn sight better than our under 17 captain, who once put the worse fielder at 1st slip;)

Fielding style:
tends to vary. im one of those people who hate high balls, but is quite likely to take a diving one handed catch. tend to be quick in the field, slide alot, sometimes probably too much.

Bowling style:
agressive. bowl left arm medium fast around the wicket, as i always have ;)
tend to get a fair bit of seam and swing going. i am also a chinaman bowler, but had to mostly bowl my mediums due to the fact that 8 of the team were spinners. tend to have a thumb index finger technique that spins alot, but still mastering it. also bowl orthodox on occasion, still get sharp spin just not every ball like my chinaman action.
pace BB: 3/12
spin BB: 7/45 :D

Batting style:
haha, i doubt i have a batting style. lower order, though for some stupid reason always wanted to open. used to be shocking batsman, but coaching has improved it. i like to hit the ball, and being lower down the order, everyone moves in thinking im a block type player, only to watch it go over t heir heads for four. had to play a defensive role t his season, (aka block everything) as a result my highest score was 2, and besides 1*, the rest of the season resulting in 0 not out. im thinking of becoming more defencive minded, get the singles and all that, but i dont know how that will go,;) im a right handed batsman.

Mate in India you won't see batsman playing too good shots at gully

Batting - see ball, swing at ball.
Bowling - run up and wing it down.
Fielding - I can actually field very well, pretty efficient at point. Style? pfffft.

Every team puts it's best fielder at point...

Batting:
I can be any type of batsmen, depending on the time in the game. I can grind out a 20 odd off 100 balls, and usually when I am going defensive my strike rate is not over 30. When I'm moderate, looking for runs, but defending the good balls, my strike rate goes to about 40 and if I'm playing well, 50 odd. When I go attack, I usually start with it over 100, until the bowlers work out my strengths, and it slows to about 70-95.

I have a cut, pull, drives, decent defense (although have a big gap in between bat and pad when ball is a fair way outside off), a sweep and a hack at the ball, which is like a big shot, across the line swipe. I rarely play this though, unless in the last 10 overs and/or I am looking for runs. I have excellent off stump awareness, apart from my first ball from a new bowler, where I don't know how much it swings, spins, which way, and at what pace. After that first ball, I am usually alright. Bowlers get balls to cut/swing/spin through my gap between bat and pad frequently, so I should work on that. I shot I need to learn to play in a match situation is the flick/leg glance though, so important to score runs off, yet I can never play one off the quicks. Rarely even get bat to it, and if I do, it's timed so bad it goes nowhere, or straight in the air!

Bowling:
Medium pace, line and length bowler. Can swing a ball, even when it's 50 odd overs old. Get seam sometimes, when I get it right, I am a very nagging and dangerous bowler. I challenge guys from 4th grade, getting them to edge, play and miss and not know weather to play or leave.

Fielding: I am a good ground fielder, but cannot catch for ****. I like to field at mid off or cover, and sometimes find myself in the slips. I hate high balls, and rarely catch them. I hate balls hit hard, drop them a bit as well.

Well, that's pretty much enough to make a judgement on me, I'd say.

Mate in India you won't see batsman playing too good shots at gully

agreed.
though im guessing the player you had at gully, was 100 times better than the guy we had at slip. but no, had to put him there didnt we? i dont know where we could have put him, his arm was so weak he couldnt be in the outfield, they would run five haha.

I don't know much about style. My technique used to be pretty good after I did some clinics and was actually playing cricket, but this year I got lazy and stopped playing any form of sport, so my style has gone from decent to crap. I also swing at anything outside off. If I connect, it can be a good shot, if not, then obviously not. I get a bit of power though.

Yes, and your point being? I was actually one of the best in my team, and therefore around the point, cover area.
