Sehwag wants to bat in the middle order - Your take?

Sounds like another Sehwag.

You need a batsman who can make runs on South African wickets if your team is going to be a world-beater. Not someone who can cash in on a flat-wicket and score triple hundreds.

I doubt any of your batsman will be able to do what Hughes did to South Africa in South Africa just recently. Not even Sachin or Dravid could reach those heights in those parts of the world. ;)

Sachin and Dravid reaching those heights! Of course not. You are 100 percent correct. They will cross those heights. And if you talk about reaching them, :laugh:laugh:laugh:laugh:laugh:laugh why? Our Munaf Patel and Vajji Singh will reach those heights.

They both averaged under 40 in South Africa.

Philip Hughes so far has had just one good tour against one decent opponent. He is nowhere in world cricket right now. He is a baby. End of argument. Full stop. And this is not the right thread to discuss it. So, come back to topic.

You really don't have a clue do you? Phillip Hughes has well and truly outperformed Dravid & Tendulkar in South Africa, averaging almost double the amount of runs, with more centuries. The fact that you are trying to dispute that is simply laughable.

LMAO, World Beaters are doing great right now in SA arent they. They must be really good.;)
Beat South Africa in South Africa 2-1 in the Test series. I'd say that we're doing mighty fine at the present and have acchieved more success in South Africa just recently then what India will do for a fair while.

Yea of course by being 5/19 in game of 50overs on a South African pitch, although they did alright in Tests....Wonder what happened?

We shall wait and see........but I hope Test Cricket doesnt die of old age and its boring characteristics with only ODI's and T/20's still alive. It will be doomsday for everyone wont it? :P
One-Day cricket has a greater chance of dying then Test Cricket. Tests are the traditional and original form of cricket whilst the existance of ODI cricket may fade if the emphasis on Twenty20 continues to grow.

Hey Ben was it not you that went after Dan because he said Barry Richards was one of the best and you said you cant rate a player who just played 3-4 tests?

Or is my sarcasm meter bad and you just trying to get these dudes frustrated.
