2nd Test: England v Australia at Lord's

Looks like no edge there, could have been LBW though. The poor bowling yesterday is starting to cost us big time, 425 looks more than enough now.

Haha. If Ponting got an inside edge, caught at slip. If he missed it, he was plumb LBW. What a ball from Jimmy :D

Freddie going well with the new ball...

We should be bowling Onions, that's why he's in the team, bowling the top order over with the new ball!

Massive wicket of Ponting, he didn't hit it, but it was plum lbw anyway. Hughes rather gave it away.

Ugly dismissal, I guess you could argue he's out one way or another, but in practice that's not how lbws are applied.

Ponting was out LBW, so I wouldn't worry about it too much anyway. Third umpires shoudl be allowed to over rule the on field umpires if a mistake is made. I am sure he would have known that Ponting didn't hit that, but all he could do was confirm that it carried to Strauss. Don't like that rule

Really, really need Hussey to step up here. It's his chance to cement his spot in the team.

You could hardly call Pontings one plumb LBW live considering how much it was swinging in from wide of the crease.

Feelin Blue? added 0 Minutes and 35 Seconds later...

Is Athers blind? Needs all this technology to show him Ponting didn't hit it when you can clearly see it on the replay.

Feelin Blue? added 6 Minutes and 45 Seconds later...

Flintoff back to his 05 line to Katich. Not reversing like crazy yet so Katich can breathe slightly easier.

Around the wicket to Katich - Stupid unless your swinging it 1 foot. Around the wicket angles the ball onto his pads which he is inviting you to by walking across his stumps because he loves it there. Flintoff hasn't bowled a bad line though, seaming it out and swinging it a tad but unless he keeps that up as soon as Katich gets settled he will eat that bowling.

Play resumes at 1.50pm, the players met the Queen before they ate so everything is pushed back 10 minutes.

Oh, I love to see Ponting get out in such a way! How in earth is it going to make excuses for that.

He didn't hit the ball, and was caught out. Wrong yes, but it was absolutely plum LBW so, i'm sure he'll still feel it as a injustice.

I bet the players just want to go eat! I mean, I know its tradition, but does it have to be like that?
