Welcome back everyone, I'm Ian Chappell former Australian international player.
Well 25 overs is up, it's the end of Flembo Islands innings and I reckon they'll feel they should've gotten more runs then they did.
More excellent bowling from Liam Sebastian prevented Cowley and Mingol getting too many runs followed a decent over bowled by Kavish Kantasingh held Flembo Islands down to just 4 runs between overs 21 and 22.
In the next over Sebastian struck Cowley plumb in front of the wickets and set him packing for a mere 5 runs. In came nervous 15 year old wicketkeeper Benji Waters who got lucky by being given not out to two LBW appeals before easing his nerves with a fine square cut for four.
With Mingol back on strike he took advantage of everyball and with some great running he managed to squeeze 11 runs out of the over.
Last over with Mingol on strike 130 was looking possible. Kevin Kantasingh had been reasonabley expensive so far going at 5 an over and looked determined to have an economical over and indeed he did. A bouncer to open the over followed up by a tremendously fast ball that cracked Mingol on the shoulder made the Flembo Island's captain look very nervy. A no ball the next ball that ended up being the only run scored off the over and Mingol looked seriosly hurt as he struggled to lift his bat to play the last 3 balls of the over.
Don't change that channel as we'll have plenty of excting stuff going on during the half time break here at ESPN Star Sports. Highlights of the first innings, an interview with Flembo Island's captain Michael Mingol, Bermuda announce their squad for the tour plus your chance to win 5 000 vCash.
