You know what really grinds my gears

I'm a Chennaiite. I've played hours of cricket in 120F weather (roughly 48C). Trust me, it's better.

No way can you appreciate winter. Terrible roads make driving terrifying, you can't leave your house, frost bite from just walking from the parking lot to the school/grocery store or whatever...Gah. I hate it.

Worst is when you are outside for a while and it feels like your bones are itching. You can't get that feeling off, it is the beginning stages of frostbite. Not a big deal but it feels really, really weird.

What happens to the homeless people during winter? Surely they can't survive outdoors?

Peter Pascarelli apparantly getting fired from the Baseball today podcast (and possibly ESPN) for saying that the commisioner of baseball (Bud Selig) statue would be a good target for birds to crap on, has really pissed me off.

Imagine if they had a Jonathan Ross/Brand scandal, they'd shut the whole network down. Such an overreaction from "Americas network for sport."

And Hmarka - IF they don't find shelter - they don't survive.

Well we are an overly politically correct nation. Its a shame for commentators, I hear so much in the cricket that would not fly on TV over here. Even words like "damn" or "hell"

I don't like anybody.

;) They're sacking him?! Karabell won't get anyone anywhere near that good to share banter with...

Need to start getting that podcast again...

Pissing me off? The price of alcomohol...

I wouldn't bother, it's far too happy with no voice of reason, rants or sarcasm:(

The price of alchohol is likely to increase even more.....

Well winters aren't so harsh in India. Apart from the dense fog which lasts about a month, every aspect of the Winters is much more enjoyable than the summers (Here in Delhi at least, and we see the peak of both seasons).

When well place in 3 online poker tournaments you internet inexplicably disconnects. Windows can't find any problems and the other computer is connected fine. You restart the laptop and third time it fixes the problem.

In the meantime it ruins your stack is demolished.

It's a good job I'm so laid back otherwise I would be stabbing the entire internet about now.

Arsene Wenger. What an utter tool. I hope he apologises for his comments after the game. It is quite clear that Shawcross meant no harm at all in the challenge. Suprised he saw it to be honest.

Shawcross is quite clearly upset by what happened, hell, Tony Pulis said he went home to change. Obviously I hope Ramsey gets fit again as soon as possible, but in the shorter term I hope Shawcross can get over this and play for England during the week.
