I have 4 first team players, 3 youths, and 4 who are trying to break into the first team playing.

When a player's ability turns a different colour and is underlined does that mean they've gone up a level or have they just improved but stayed on the same level? I can't remember what my players were before...

Yea my team has a pretty long tail which starts after the keeper. Got to fix that and find an allrounder I can slot in at 7.

Thirunarayan is doing well really though, farming the strike and smashing the good balls around the park. And we just dropped a catch from him

My two openers are youth players who did well in the last youth game so I thought I'd try them out. Hopefully they don't bat too slowly.

I can imagine I wouldn't have got close to 296 had you been playing your first XI. I'm not going to make it easy for you to win.

Some of this commentary is pretty classic:

McLean to McNaughton : McNaughton is having nothing of that delivery, a solid block for no run and no action. Martin suggests to McLean to put a Mars bar on a good length, to entice McNaughton from his crease. Embarrassed, McNaughton glances at his waistline and sighs.

McNaughton is a very aggressive batsman, he scored something like 66 off 28 in my youth match, and it's good to see him continue that form somewhat, especially for a 17 year old. Lihou is my newest batsman, and Coleman is my best batsman, so hopefully these two can score big

My two best batsmen are out, so now it's down to Gonsalves, a finisher, and Duddy my keeper to see us home. Gonsalves is quite the aggressive batsman it would seem.

Even if those two get out, my next three bowlers are pretty decent at batting so hopefully we can chase your total down

Well played. You won with 2 overs to spare. Good stuff. I'll be keen to play your first XI later on down the line. But this game has been good for me. I really need to shore up the lower order a bit. Might have been good to add a spinner despite it being cloudy. Congrats.

Yea I kinda want to know that as well. But I think it does mean it's gone up because if you click on a player and click 'Training History', you can see the underlined skills go up on the graph.

haha. nice close match between the 2 of you there. Green underline means a skill has improved while a black underline means it has decreased. Only had 4 pops this week.
