This is the match which depends on Sehwag. If he continues his good form with the bat then only Delhi stand a chance or else obviously no chance. :p

tweaking its so one sided. 7 for 4 and 179 runs to win.

After one game against Punjab, it was built up as if Delhi was rising from the ashes and will be like a phoenix. Well, Mumbai have put them back where they belong to this season.:D Feel sad for Sehwag! Inspite of being inconsistent, he has been able to get the orange cap once this season due to his violent innings.

Get well soon, Sai.
And I bet you can never be a good cricket analyst!

Delhi Daredevils frankly never deserved to be in the final 4 for qualifiers. They lost the plot in the auction itself.

As ridculously out of form Naman Ojha was, they just didnt have the resources to replace. Yogesh Nagar and the likes all below average performers. And Irfan Pathan didn't justify his billing too as yet.

Sadly don't see much changing in terms of results next year if they don't bring about some changes in the team set-up.

He has had a few smattering of truly big innings (the century, that 90, etc). But apart from that, he has been inconsistent unlike Tendulkar who has consistently scored runs in most of their games (the 25's, 30's and above with that odd century and a few 50's).

I am not looking to be a cricket analyst! I have other useful jobs to do. Sehwag HAS BEEN INCONSISTENT THIS IPL and I dont care a damn what you think! Its my opinion.

DD was clueless and irresponsible today, DD batsmen must know Sehvag is not GOD who can play every time. He is still not getting any support from other DD batsmen. Venu and Hopes are trying their hand. But Irfan Pathan, Naman Ojha and 2nd overseas player (Finch/Birt/Ingram) are biggest failures for DD. They can't say they lost because of bowlers. Their weakness is batting only. :rolleyes

On the other hand, MI have made it to the play-offs, thanks to Malinga, Rayudu, Rohit and Bhajji again. Munaf again was outstanding in the fielding. Love you Mr. Jonty Rhodes for this work. :clap:clap:clap

Would like to question the wisdom of the shot played by Sehwag after his team had lost two wickets in such a quick succession (Warner LBW Harbhajan and Ingram yorked first ball by Malinga). The scorecard was some 4-2 or so with Sehwag still in. Shouldnt Sehwag play out a few balls (since its T20, he could have played 3-4 balls and then cut loose)? The sight of Munaf immediately lulled Sehwag into complacency and he paid the price for it.

Irresponsible cricket from DD, and MI let DD make a 20-40 runs more. After 7-4, they could've settled them for something below 100 or so. Ah damn, we won atleast, we are doing constantly from last season.

So you have problems because he has played some huge knocks, which Sachin hasn't been able to, great!
And I'm pretty sure that Sehwag has more 25+ scores than Sachin this year. Along with that he has scored them with a superb strike rate which has helped the team immensely.

And as of now, Sachin isn't even in the top 5 in the list of MVPs of this IPL. Sehwag is at the top, followed by Malinga. I know that the MVP list isn't important and nobody gives a damn to it, but it surely does reflects the impact a player has had.

Waiting for another silly reply from you.

Bro, Irfan is Improving.. He is getting his inswing back..

He bowled Nicely Yesterday... Delhi shouldn't Rely on his batting becuase his main job is to bowl plus you can think of winning after 4 wickets down on 7. :facepalm

Irfan has been very good. He wasn't impressive in the first two matches, but has bounced back very well since then.

There are some 4 matches remaining for DD. I hope he performs well and earns spot for WI and English tour.

I am also Irfan Pathan fan dude, but I don't think he will get WI tour ticket. He needs to wait and prove himself more in domestic circuits. He has been good so far, but not more than ordinary. Hope he will keep performing in DD's last 4 matches and impress selectors. :thumbs
