Linus may consider himself unlucky as well but having more batting depth looked preferable.

You need to add (substract in case of bowling avgs) the points (as listed in the table to these):

BATSMEN:
Batting avg: 35, Bowling avg: 99

ALLROUNDERS:
Batting avg: 28, Bowling avg: 36

BOWLING ALLROUNDERS:
Batting avg: 23, Bowling avg: 34

BOWLERS:
Batting avg: 10, Bowling avg: 33

For example, Fenil's rating would be:
Batting: 28 + 6 =34
Bowling: 36-2=34

My rating:
Batting: 23+2=25
Bowling=35-6=29

And so on.
