The PCPL Shop

I really dislike the whole shop thing, always have done irrespective of when it was announced or anything. I also had no idea what the shop even was until about two days ago.

If you're not happy about the shop - for whatever reason - fine. I get that. But if you keep throwing "corruption" at the people running the league, then they're not going to want to keep running it, are they?

Don't think I mentioned the word "corruption". What I have said though is that this should have all been decided on and announced before budgets were and the auctions started. Adding something like this after certain teams had spent their budget isn't exactly fair.

Want to make it fair? Give all teams the same budget to spend in the shop.

Your first sentence is rather strange. How can you have always disliked the whole shop thing when you had no idea what it was until two days ago? Surely you can not dislike something you are not aware of?

I disliked it in the last PCPL as well. But life goes on.

The luck of the pools really hurt some teams - most of my budget in the shop is going towards redressing the inbalance of how many owners were in Pool A from the various teams. Landscape got 3 players at reserve in Pool A and The Demons/Amigos got two each - but the other teams that just had one.

I think its useless pursuing further with this topic... But I think if you read it carefully he says that he does not know the content of the shop until two days back. So lets believe him and let it go.. Move on guys....

Again that's fair enough but at the same time this is something that should probably have been figured out beforehand . Was this issue not prevalent in previous PCPL's?

I appreciate you guys are doing a difficult job organising this and you can't think of everything. But pulling out the "corruption card" just because something was questioned rather than admitting an oversight has been made is a bit over the top!

I mentioned the word corruption in my earlier post. Dont think it was aimed at you.

Just to clear the air all I am saying is that running a league of this magnitude without rules and guidelines will leave it open to corruption and accusations of corruption thereof.

As I also posted earlier it seems to be a learning experience for us all, players and managers alike. We need to learn from these mistakes and move on so we can make the next PCPL even better than this one.

Also dealing with the subject at hand, the shop seems a pretty good idea and I approve of it. Even though I require no skills since I am the best.

There will also be bonuses for activity which will be announced soon!

Please give in detail what exactly, meaning would you get a bonus for posting on the team thread, match thread or general discussion?

Also I expect that this will be announced a couple of days before the actual matches are scheduled to sim since everyone participating are informed.
