Mine would be Glenn McGrath, Ricky Ponting, Brian Lara, Jacques Kallis & Stephen Fleming. I only started watching cricket regularly in the mid 2000s and therefore missed the careers of many greats of the previous eras such as Wasim Akram, Curtly Ambrose, Courtney Walsh, Steve Waugh etc. That's the reason they don't feature in my list.

Pretty much sure about the top 4 but are you sure it's Andre Russell?
Russell has grown tremendously in the last two years. He has been the trump card of many domestic sides mainly in T20's. When he's not talking wickets he scores at very high strike rates. He might not make the best all-rounder of this time as yet, but he is in a class of his own.[DOUBLEPOST=1470151021][/DOUBLEPOST]
Everywhere you write Kholi... It's Kohli not kholi
Bite me!
That's the thing with predictive text, spell and save it wrong the first time and you'll get it wrong every time.

What I don't understand is how can you rate players that you haven't watched play cricket?

(i.e. there is no way I can compare (or anyone in my sort of age range) WG Grace, Bradman and even to the extent of Dennis Lillee, Hanif Mohammad with any of the modern cricketers)

In this generation I rate Kohli bounds above Tendulkar and probably as the batsmen of the generation.

- Virat Kohli
- Ricky Ponting
- Shane Bond
- An amalgamation of other hugely talented players.
