A century stand between Hendricks and du Plessis was exceptional and Miller played his role to aplomb too. The all rounders were routed by a Trent Boult hattrick in the last over, though.

For the first time, we have a team batting effort! Everyone but Phillips played their part, the most spectacular of which was de Grandhomme's 12-ball 32. But they fell just short thanks to good death bowling from Anrich Nortje who very nearly took another hattrick in the final over.

SAF 9/185 (du Plessis 85, Hendricks R. 65, Boult 4/33)
NZ 9/182 (Williamson 49, de Grandhomme 32, Nortje 3/40)
SAF won by 3 runs
MOTM: Faf du Plessis

This match has made selection harder instead of easier for me

he wasnt, and now de kock, bavuma, faf and reeza all have very valid claims to open. Bavuma did score when the others failed but its hard to ignore the performances of the openers in this match either

:ind: Team India Line-up for Warm Up vs Bangladesh :ban:
  1. :bat: Shikhar Dhawan
  2. :bat: Virat Kohli :c:
  3. :bat: Suryakumar Yadav

  10. :bwl: Mohammad Shami
  11. :bwl: Thangarasu Natarajan
2 changes. Virat Kohli comes in and will open the batting alongside Dhawan apparently,
while Shami makes way for Bhuvaneshwar. Bhuvi had a niggle so opted to rest for this one.

Warmup Game 10
Bangladesh vs India

Ground: Punjab Cricket Association Stadium (our final venue)

Toss: India won and chose to bat

Sure Rubel had the headline figures, but Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Mahmudullah got them into that situation on a turning pitch.

India then made the fatal mistake of bowling pace too much too early, and Liton Das took full toll, allowing Shanto and Rahim to walk the target in.

India: 5/144 (20)
Bangladesh: 2/146 (17.4)
Bangladesh win by 8 wickets
MOTM: Liton Das

Having seen the general trend after 10 games, as well as the trends in my Big Bash series, I'm going to redo the special abilities at the end of Round 2 of warmups.
