Was hoping for a middle order batter. Gonna have to think who to put at 7

It was probably too late in his career to master the one-day game, but I'm still happy to pull a player of his overall quality.

@Verified Enigma and @Fenil actually have amazing, well-rounded teams.
TBH your team's batting is as good as any international side almost. You have an interesting spot to fill as well. Could be a batsman who can further solidify your batting to nullify the shortcomings in the bowling, could use an all-rounder but that would be a gamble and if you get a bowling allrounder, it would only make things worse for you. Now you can go out of the box and choose to go with an out and out fast bowler who can provide some support to the world class players like Murali and Boult since you have solid top#5 and 3 all-rounders to swing their willow.

You won't believe what I've done. It's none of those.

End of draft. Thank you all for participating; now onto the main event which shall take place in :ire: IRE/:sco: SCO/:ned: NED as per the polls. So if you have any last minute adjustments in captaincy or batting order now would be a good time to do so, coz I'll just skip straight to simming after that.

Brilliant! Wood will provide the variety of extra pace in our attack. Extremely happy how the team turned out. A well rounded mix of excellence, experience and utility players.

Thanks Varun for this wonderful league. Looking forward to the matches.

Jadeja @6? @Aravind. IMO missed the trick to get a batsman/batting allrounder in given that he already had 3 pacers and 2 spin all-rounders apart from Samuels.

Happy with the team, especially the bowling unit, has the Speedster's Bond & Shah, Unadkat has the left arm variation required, Jordon for the slower ones and death bowling, Jaddu & Axar the spin twins for middle order bowling and Samuels to bowl if any of the above has a bad day.

Although the batting will be dependent on Fleming & Sanga, i believe we have decent middle order & lower middle order to face any attack and smash it at the end.

Looking forward to the matches, thanks for the draft @VC the slogger
