Afridi and technique in the same, never ending sentence? Give me a break!

Pietersen and Hayden are probably the top two at the moment. Perhaps Ponting is worth a mention too?

When Afridi is hitting out, he does have the best technique in the world for it. No joke. His head stays very still and that is the key to it.

It would be Hayden for me, after his astounding World Cup.

even when he isnt hitting out
he still has a very good technique

all he needs is a couple of more brain cells then he can be one of the most consistent players in the world

depends on when.

From 1995-2001..it was Tendulkar, jayasurya and or Lara. They aren't aggressive anymore except for jayasurya, while Afridi, though extremely aggressive, is not consistent.

In today's cricket, it should be pieterson and even jayasurya

Tendulkar and lara were a little younger then, they were only 60 years young lol

I voted Pietersen because he is the best batsman out of that list at the moment and always looks to be aggressive.

ATM, there isnt a better batsmen in the world better than Pietersen, when he doesnt throw his wicket away. And is smarter now and doesnt

ponting, haven't seen Yousuf in a while

Yousuf, hes poor now, Younis Khan has become better than him. One of the best Jaques Rudolph :)

I can't beleive Hayden only has 4 votes, one of which is mine. How is Afridi nearly winning, you are all saying IF he had more brain cells or whatever but this is at the moment not in a few months when he has bought more brain cells.

why are people turning this into a best batsman thread?
isnt that what the icc ranmings are for

the thread of the title people

"most aggressive"
