After having put on a 258/7, Morocco looked confident in posing a challenge to the quality Indian side. However, Shubman Kotak and Vijay Kambli's 185-run stand proved to be enough to see India at the finish line with ease with 52 balls still remaining.

Well that was the end of Morocco's incredible run in the tournament, having reached the semi-final after some amazing performances in the last two rounds. A comprehensive 8-wicket win for India seals them a spot in the final of the WCC Knockout Trophy and a chance to redeem themselves after their tragic exit from the Round of 16 in the 2000 edition. Hakem Lahbabi certainly would have wanted to play the final as his last international match, but the Indian team had other plans.​

I can not say I didn't expect that. Losing our openers for chump change, and then Hervé Hocquard before he could really get going pretty much decided our fate there and then. I was actually really happy with how well Zamen and Zniber stepped up to rebuild our innings, because both these players haven't really lived up to the potential they showed they had with their performances for Casablanca in the Super League. We could've posted a much more bowl-able total if they kept going, but that 38th-over from Mayas Kumble dampened all our hopes. But I suppose it wouldn't have mattered anyway given how well the Indians batted in the second innings.

Hakem Lahbabi bows out with a heartbreaking loss, but his service to the Moroccan national team will forever be cherished by the people of Morocco.

Denmark's bowlers have done an exceptional job in restricting their opponents to a meagre total on an admittedly bowling-friendly wicket. Despite being off-color in the previous two games, Martin Lundgren led the Danish pack with a phenomenal spell of pace bowling. He bagged 3 wickets for 36 runs in 8.0 overs, and was easily the pick of the bowlers. Felix Nørregaard and Oliver Johansson were just as commendable with their 2 scalps each, as both bowlers utilized the nature of this pitch to their advantage.

For South Africa, several batters got starts but none could convert them into anything of greater significance. Mark Janssen did add a crucial 17 runs for the final wicket alongside Fanie Steyn before the latter was frustratingly run out, cutting the South African innings short with plenty of overs to spare. If the run out hadn't occurred, there's a good possibility that South Africa could've gotten to 180, maybe 190, and then left it to their bowlers to bowl out of their skin to defend that total.

Still, the onus is on their bowling to win this match when in all likelihood the dream has diminished for the South Africans. All eyes on The Struwigs for a miracle.​

Denmark's bowlers have done an exceptional job in restricting their opponents to a meagre total on an admittedly bowling-friendly wicket. Despite being off-color in the previous two games, Martin Lundgren led the Danish pack with a phenomenal spell of pace bowling. He bagged 3 wickets for 36 runs in 8.0 overs, and was easily the pick of the bowlers. Felix Nørregaard and Oliver Johansson were just as commendable with their 2 scalps each, as both bowlers utilized the nature of this pitch to their advantage.

For South Africa, several batters got starts but none could convert them into anything of greater significance. Mark Janssen did add a crucial 17 runs for the final wicket alongside Fanie Steyn before the latter was frustratingly run out, cutting the South African innings short with plenty of overs to spare. If the run out hadn't occurred, there's a good possibility that South Africa could've gotten to 180, maybe 190, and then left it to their bowlers to bowl out of their skin to defend that total.

Still, the onus is on their bowling to win this match when in all likelihood the dream has diminished for the South Africans. All eyes on The Struwigs for a miracle.​
