Does anybody else have this problem. I am trying to sign an overseas replacement player and when i do and click continue it says that the game has encountered an error and now has to close. Why?

How do you get the patch and get it to work. Do you have to go onto Network Game on the main menu. If so i go on that and try to install the patch but it never installs. What do i do?
