I've actually had a batsman hit the ball directly back to me (spinner, career mode) and ran the batsman who was backing up. Totally automatic. I also had a ball ricochet off a fielder close in and directly into my hands. I wish I bothered to do videos of all the weird stuff I get in games.

After Reading these posts I decided to check the teams I downloaded and the recent uploads. Usually I look for recent rosters but since I was playing Career mode I really didn't check the teams out. Holy shit people have entire teams maxed out, I'm looking at you Pakistan and Bangladesh fans ;)...

I always go Front foot against the spinners, I usually go back foot and its easier to switch to front if I want to. If I'm slogging though, I usually go Front foot.

That's a toughie. After 2 years there's lots of outdated teams, as well as teams tweaked to person's preferences. The best bet is to search them by name then take a quick look at the roster and see what's updated. When you do, search that team's creator and see what other teams he's updated...

Not sure if it's been mentioned before but as a bowler and captain, sometimes I'm removed from bowling when I bowl an over then simulate to my next over. This seems to happen if I get blasted, but this shouldn't happen if I'm the captain and selecting the bowlers.

The difficulty level also affects your shots. If you play at a lower level the CPU will automatically choose front or back foot, and adjust for perfect timing, so the wagon wheel for a novice will show most strokes overlapping while for veteran you'll get a wider spread of shots and angles.

Just to add, if you're on another system like PC or XBOX and can't find my username, I added 2015 to the end of the teams, except for the St Kitts/Nevis Patriots, since the name would be too long and it's their first year replacing the Antigua Hawksbills.

Timing for the sweep shot is important, you need to press the buttons a fraction of a second earlier than you'd do for other shots. Practice in the nets to see, just think that your batsman needs more time to get into position before actually using the bat.
