    Cricket 24 - General Discussion

Has anyone experienced something like this…. Wicketkeeper diving and collecting the ball to knock off the stumps…. Here is the clip Wicketkeeper diving efforthttps://www.xbox.com/en-GB/play/media/7BVJ787KEF

    Cricket 24 - General Discussion

I tried playing hard difficulty in Ashes and I could smash pretty much 10 per over. Mind you this is without patch on Xbox. I guess batting difficulty needs some tuning. It’s too easy at the moment. Every ball you drive it goes between the field for a boundary. Plus AI fielding is poor at...

    Cricket 24 - General Discussion

I would say both to be honest. I’m loosing faith in BA’s capabilities to build a good playable cricket game. Perhaps they also realised this and hence they are focusing on such trivial licensing stuff which isn’t of much use. Unless you have all of these licensed players also available under...

    Cricket 24 - General Discussion

Just spotted this on BA’s forums. Look at some of the latest topics and list of bugs people started reporting. This says it all. No the key question is Cricket 24 is the culmination of a decade of Cricket video game development ….. or culmination of BA studios altogether of making cricket games

    Cricket 24 - General Discussion

As per tradition, it'll probably take a few lunar cycles for BA before Cricket 24 is even remotely playable. In the meantime, I've rekindled my romance with our dear DBC 14. Spent a whopping 5 hours on it yesterday, thanks to all the Cricket 24 shenanigans. :P

Common dude. Don't take this personally. My real point was rather than focusing on licensing teams it would have been wiser to make gameplay improvements which matters most. The irony of license teams is that half of the players are well Photogrammetry and rest isn't which makes it even worse...

Seems like they have focussed on areas...which isn't of interest to most of us out here :P

    Cricket 24 - General Discussion

I'm just relishing the gameplay. Call me old-school, but there's something about those older game mechanics that feels superior, despite some glitches and all.

    Cricket 24 - General Discussion

Honestly, after witnessing all the Cricket 24 jazz so far, I'm almost tempted to go back to DBC 14, it feels like coming home after a wild adventure and realising that your old slippers are way comfier :D

    Cricket 24 - General Discussion

I hope this doesn't sound silly, but I couldn't help but to compare the player models from DBC 14 to C22 and the "so-called" C24. Honestly, the image on the left struck me as far more realistic in terms of player models, detailing, grass textures and even pitch cracks. I'm not sure if it's just...

    Cricket 24 - General Discussion

Thank you @MattW for sharing this update and addressing the community's concerns. Your transparency is appreciated. Nobody undermines BA's efforts and it is evident that game development can be a complex process with various moving parts and deadlines. It's also reassuring to hear that...

Mate, you've hit the nail on the head. This patch might sprinkle a bit of fairy dust, but let's face it - C24 feels more like C22 with a few extra stickers. It's essentially the same game, just with a handful of domestic teams and logos slapped on. Calling it an upgrade is like putting a bowtie...

    Cricket 24 - General Discussion

Having been a dedicated fan of Big Ant Studio's cricket games since DBC14, I've purchased each instalment with excitement , including DBC14, DBC17, Ashes Cricket, Cricket 19 and even C22. However, I must express my disappointment with C24, to say this regrettably that C22 was the final purchase...
