I just think they have got it way too hard even for the easy levels. I like a challenge but I have been playing this for 6 months now and really getting no further. Apparently the '15 version is no different, shame, I think I'm just going to shelve it now and do something else with my spare time.
The more I play this game the more I come to the conclusion that its is purely guess work. Even on the very easiest setting, if you wait to see what line the ball is going to take its waaaaay too late to play the shot.
The only method that I can find is to predetermine your shot and hope that...
Thanks Matt. So I only need to get front or back foot right? Or do I need to play the shot right? Ie, do I need to get the Left Analogue Stick correct or the Right Analogue Stick correct?
I am playing on rookie level but I am finding it impossible to play the correct shot to each ball. I have played practice matches where the ball is slowed down but this doesn't teach you anything because when you get to a real match its at full speed. By the time I have picked up the line and...
Hi All
I have just bought the game, I have had a trawl through the forum for the answer to this question as I am sure its been answered but couldn't find the answer:
Is it possible to create your own team within the game? As its all unlicensed I want to create my local club team and play for...
Does anyone know whether or not there will be an new game any time soon? I really think there are many improvement to be made and hoped that these would come through in later editions. However 3 years on and there hasnt been anything except a 2010 version that wasnt for the PC.
Hi guys. When I use the Player editor to alter some of the australian players, for example B Laughlin to D Bollinger, it saves fine, however, when I launch the game, the name has not been altered in the squad. I am changing the name at the very top of the editor page. All other names are...
I have seen hints that there maybe a circket 2011 and that they may have remembered to make one for the PC this time. Does anyone know for sure yet?
I am bored rigid by 2009 now. I have played 20 tests but to quote Shane Warne I have played the same test 20 times. There is no option for...
I want edges to be more frequent and not necessarily always go to hand, 4s through 3rd man etc, lots more wickets to slip catches.
I want Less slogging from the AI in tests 5.6 runs per over is unrealistic and annoying. ( I am running the patch which brings the R/R down somewhat)
I want...
Only way...
The only way I find of getting wickets is to put everyone on the boundary and just wait for the slog which the AI batsmen will do at least once an over. Not great way to play test cricket which is why I havent played this game since F1 2010 came out!
I'd love to find a way of...
Does anyone get any wickets other then caught on the boundary? I estimate that this makes up 80% of the wickets that I get, okay in 20 20 but unrealisitc in test matches.
I want to see slip catches and bowled and LBW more. I have NEVER had a bat/pad catch or got someone out by setting a leg...
I know! I'm sure the manual eludes to the fact that cloud should make the ball swing more (as in real life!), so in theory if it couds over during the day it should get harder to bat but I dont find any difference. Also, the ball doesnt seem to bounce any more in Brisbane than it does at...
Is the weather or the pitch supposed to make a difference in this game? I find the ball doesnt seem to swing or take the edge anymore on a cloudy day any more than it does on bright sunny day.
I also dont think that the pitch really makes any difference either, all it does is spin a bit more...
Yes its the official patch and like Dutchad its the first one as idont play on line anyway. Thanks for you help. I suppose the question is, do I just have to live with the ridiculous run rates!!?
How do you tell if a patch installed correctly? I am still getting the Aussies scoring at about 5.5 an over and vertually no edges but the other aspects of the patch tend to work.
