I think he has already shown that when he is in bad form he can grind it out, as shown by how he was able to grind out that important century last summer.
Cook is currently a run-scoring machine, it's amazing. It's great to see him in such good form when barely a year ago you couldn't rely on him to get into double figures before edging it.
P.S I think I was proved wrong Treva, it appears Broad was droppable lol
I would also prefer to see Tremlett in One-Day side, but I feel that the selectors are kind of tied to "Having" to keep Broad in the team, as dropping the T20 Captain from the One-Day team would seem unacceptable in their minds. We need to be more ruthless in picking players who are in form and...
For some strange reason, in which I don't know why, I have never really been that interested in Broad. Too often he isn't "in form" but then he will occasionally show a glimpse of class and his rating in the team goes up again. I mean since he was injured he hasn't shown too much to even merit...
I would like to know whether you feel that the criticism Cook has been recieving from the media is true, or if it just very harsh?
read my blog and and then tell me your opinion either on this thread or on the link :)

I see your point, but I feel that this is more of a report of the matches and series I play than an actual story, if you get what I mean. So the way I write about the matches I play is as if its a journalist reporting on a days play or a sessions play, but thats the way I write, haha.
