Cook is indeed in spectacular form at the moment. It would be interesting how he bounces back after a poor series or bad patch. Can he grind out or struggle horribly like KP? If he can then surely he'd on the path to become a great player.

I think he has already shown that when he is in bad form he can grind it out, as shown by how he was able to grind out that important century last summer.

Was just about to say as much. He need to score runs in that innings or he was out the team and just before the Ashes. Hasn't looked back since amazing form.
