POSSIBLE SOLUTION What I had to do was bowl the entire team out for 0 runs - so 10/0. It takes a lot of patience and re-loading, but with a good team bowling out a rubbish team, it only took me around an hour. Of course I can't say for sure that it will work for everyone, but it worked for me.

I actually meant when they were supposed to be testing the game - did such a simple error just get missed? - but you make a good point.

Nope :( You would have thought that someone at the developers would have checked these things just the once, wouldn't you? I'm officially out of ideas on this, now.

OK, I'm going to try one more thing but before I do, I thought I'd ask if anyone else had got it to work. Essentially, I've read elsewhere that many of these reward/unlock bugs are due to a kink in the coding for the players the game comes with, and that accordingly quite a few of them don't...

I take it no such thing exists for the X360 version, though? :(

Well, 6 attempts later, and still no unlocks. It's a shame if it's properly broken since I was looking forward to experimenting with all the kit options. I used to work for Newbery so I was hoping to be able to unlock most of their stuff; but a lot of it seems stuck in the one I can't unlock :(

So it's not just me, then. Many thanks for the feedback. If what you say above is true, though, I wonder if it's a random bug rather than a constant one. In other words, if I keep trying it I might eventually unlock some of it. Might have to play around. Truth be told, I'm after the kit more...

Bit of an update; I've tried all the things I've read from various sources that may or may not have anything to do with fixing this problem. I've played as different teams, I've got 10/52 and 10/53 exactly. I've done it a total of five times now, and nothing. I'm literally stumped :doh

Alas, I really should have mentioned that I'm on the X360. I always forget to mention that... So obviously patches are out of the question. I just rather hoped it was a workaroundable kink; it looks like it isn't from what I'm reading. Thanks though.

^ Can I just say I've had exactly the same issue as the person above for the Test (10/53) one? I got the ODI one by taking 9 wickets for fewer runs - the record is 8. But with the 10/53 one it is obviously impossible to take additional wickets. I'm slightly confused since I didn't simulate any...

Hello, I wonder if someone might be able to help. I was trying to get the test bowling record achivement of 10 wickets for 53 runs or less; thereby unlocking the trophy and the associated kit pack. I managed to achieve it by conceeding around 45 runs, but neither of the rewards unlocked...
