The match was pretty much dominated by england who still had over two sessions of play remaining when ashley giles took the last wicket! The fast bowlers found it hard work with both sides pacemen proveing expensive! Definatly a day for the spinners! Ashley Giles landing mom with an impressive ten wicket haul!
For a Bangladesh team still looking for their first win there was little to talk about! Still they managed to frustrate england with a high scorer in each innings!

Why does it appear you batted like it was a one day game! I'm playing the English County championship and I have batted for over 90 overs and am just reaching your scores!
Bangladesh arent that great to be honest and the pitch was hard so the ball came on to the bat quite well! My next game which i am half way through is looking very different, playing the govenors x11 and the pitch is dusty! Huge amount of spin took marcus trescothick 175 balls to reach his 50! Ill post the screenies when the game is over
England's second warm up game of the sub continent saw them taking on the govenors x11! Pretty much a team of unknows to england although they did field latif from pakistan!
Hot Day, no chance of rain on a dusty pitch! England win the toss and elect to bat! Vaughan and trescothick make a promising first wicket partnership before vaughan misjudges his timeing and is bowled out for 29! Trescothick has to work incredibly hard for his half century taking him no less than 150 balls! The pitch is offering huge amounts of turn for the spinners and england may regret haveing only one recognised spinner in the side!Butcher and Hussain arrives at the crease and both get runout the pressure begining to tell on michael vaughans side and many believe they should have bowled first! Thorpe arrives at the crease and drives the ball down the bowlers throat, out for a duck! Flintoff arrives at the crease with england in trouble, wickets falling all around him, the rest of the team play around flintoff! Despite getting bogged down at first he reaches his half century with a powerfull on drive! He then played right untill the end of the innigs hitting one and two's and the occasionall 4!
Eng finish on 253 all out after 85 overs!

England take a couple of early wicket thru ashley giles and steve harmison before Govenors build a nice partnership with englands bowlers being expensive! Harmsion despite being expensive was the breakthrough man, dismissing all of govenors top scorers! Ashley Giles mopped up the rest!
Governors X11 all out for 248 off 39 overs!
England lead by 5 runs
Englands Second Innings has given them a good chance to address what went wrong in the first innings! England play aggressive against the opening three seam bowlers! Vaughan and Trescothick make an oppening partnership of 100 before Trescothicks slow reactions get him run out for 63! Vaughan continues to dominate the crease, and is reasonable backed up by englands middle order! Vaughan Makes his century with a scrambled one and even goes on to reach 150 before being clean bowled by ahmed! Thorpe finishes not out on 68, england declare on 382 for 5 after 95 overs!

Govenors X11 have little chance of winning the game and look to settle for the draw! Some aggressive seam bowling by england which sees them with an 8-2 field has the Govenors X11 worried and by the time they reach 53 they are 5 down! Englands seam bowlers clear out the top order, with Harmsion's extra pace and bounce forceing edge catches to Chris Read and Mark Butcher! Even Flintoff in his first bowling spell of the tour picks up a wicket!
Younis Kahn finished on 67 for Govenors X11 and can be please with his performance, unfortunalty no one could stop wickets falling at the other end! Ashley Giles cleaned up the tail!
