Story West Indies tour of the sub-continent

Bangladesh moved on to 122 helped by some pretty bad wicket keeping by R.Jacobs. Hinds was back into the attack, to exploit the pitch which tended to keep some balls lower than usual. It helped and he struck immediately in his new spell snagging Alok Kapali for 8 when he left a ball which struck him on his pads. With no more runs added to the score, it was Rofique's turn to be deceived by the ball keeping a bit low and get bowled. 3 more runs and it was Mashrafe, same way but this time to Banks.

Completing the formality, Talha Jubhair got out in classic form trying to get away from a short pitched delivery from Hinds that kept too low that he was out LBW!! Bangladesh finished at 126 all out.

Dillon was the pick of the bowlers helped immensely by the others. West Indies stuck to a plan and executed the plan. This will immensely help their confidence later in the tour.

Review of Ravi's patch:

Ravi,

If you are reading this:

During bowling, I found the CPU was bowling too full about 85% of the balls which made life very easy for me to bat. I stated this earlier.

During batting, the CPU tries to leave a LOT of short-pitched balls. Only about 50% of the balls are well judged. With others, they either get out or get hit. This is un-acceptable.

In your 2.0 test patch, the batsmen seemed to be aggressive for some balls in between. I am not going to comment whether this is right or wrong, as it is too early but on this slow pitch, it certainly did not help their cause. They lost wickets. Also, on this pitch, with the ball keeping low, they missed some simple back-foot defense shots.

So, certainly much more work is needed for the patch. I am not going to play any more test matches till you can fix these issues.

No point winning all the matches without a fight. Good luck and thanks for your effort.
