Your Cricket 0 ball duck

I was many a time out for a duck without facing a single ball......
The best one
was during the CAB match
We were playing a t-20 competetion semi final
i came at no.9
our score was 159/7 at 17.5
with the other batsmen on 49 so i had to run for anything to give him the strike the next over and for his 50
altough it was the match in which I took 4-1-24-4

I'am out a duck 4-6 times and I'am out 2 times without facing a ball.

I have been never out on duck withour facing ball or not facing ball if you are ever facing this thing just dont take any run say to batsmen to play all over himself then when on batting hold bat tightly surely you will be back in form;)

To be dismissed for nought in both innings of the same two-innings match is to be dismissed for a pair,[6] because the two noughts together are thought to resemble a pair of spectacles; the longer form is occasionally used.[7] To be dismissed first ball in both innings (i.e., two golden ducks) is to suffer the indignity of making a king pair.[Problem Solverered?

Surely it's called a pair because you got two "0"'s ???

I always thought first ball of the match was called a royal duck.

Surprisingly in about 6+ years of cricket I've never had a diamond duck. I've had a royal duck before (I open the batting). First ball I faced off a pretty quick Indian fella, it was a low yorker/fulltoss on middle, I went for the leg glance, popped off the outside edge to silly cover. It was worse because I got a second-ball in the first innings without scoring. I think that was my first pair ever.

I've nevr had a diamond though. Speaking about series of ducks, a friend in our team who isn't a bad batsman (he averages about 30ish) once got 5 ducks in a row. Was quite funny.
