2-Player Help?

Someone is going to bite my head off for starting this thread...oh well... I searched the forums and found Rahul asking about playing 2 player on the same keyboard - this is understandably impossible. However, I have seen other games where people have connected two keyboards to the same computer, and both played on separate keyboards. Is this at all possible? I tried to connect 2 keyboards (a wireless MS keyboard, and a standard PS2 keyboard), but the game thought they were the same. I know the easy answer is to buy a game controller, but I hate game controllers, and all my friends play the game on PC with a keyboard, so to get used to a controller is quite something.

Playing two players in the same keyboard is not possible at all. Only solution is get a Game Controller. Its also easy to master a game controller and you can play for both teams with you as one team and ur mate as the other!

I understand that playing two player on one keyboard is impossible, but what I am asking is if it is possible to plug two keyboards into one computer. If you can plug a keyboard and a gamepad into one computer, can you somehow make the computer think that a second keyboard is actually a gamepad? Or something to that effect?

Because he wants to know if there is any way to get it to work. I personally doubt that there is a simple way to do it. The only way I can think of is to write a program that somehow "fools" the computer into thinking that a USB keyboard is a gamepad. Beyond my abilities though.

Or probably link two computers??? Like two monitors, and a keyboard to each.... :cool: ..who knows??

Once i tried to put two keyboards. one on the real key board socket and the other on the mouse socket. but unfortunately the one that is put on the mouse socket acted as a mouse. dunno how. And you cant play two players in a single keyboard so it is useless. But if you havent played PS2 much i think you might find playing with a joystick interesting because i do and i dont have a PS.

I just installed this game but I dont seem to have any control over the players.
I used the World Series option
and set one team to CPU and the other to User. My team batted first but I coudnt control any shot. Everything happened by itself...please help

well you have to select the side in the controller selection screen. either to the left or right else both the team will be controlled by the computer. no matter what you select when you select the teams for World Series.

But my problem is I cannot control my team in any game. Even when I go net practice I cannot assign to bat or ball. Very new to this game please help

As per the answer:
You need to make sure that you have chosen your keyboard or gamepad at the controller selection screen.

Which controller selection we are talking about
I two live in Dubai. Have you made or got the Saja stadium?

Sharjah stadium is there, and read the manual for instructions, arrow keys to assign controller to team, and timing is all important. To earl or too late means nothing will happen.
