The Arab League Cup, simply and commonly known as the Arab Cup is an international 50-over cricket tournament.
Contested amongst the top cricket-playing nations of the Arab world, the tournament is considered to be the "Crown Jewel of Arabia".

The 2003 Arab Cup will be the inaugural edition of the tournament. Saudi Arabia will fittingly play hosts to the first tournament.​

* teams equal on points at the end of the group stage are ranked by the following order

Squads

Each team is required to name a 15-player squad alongside a designated captain (:c:); they can not be replaced unless injured.
No upgrades can be spent during the tournament; all upgrades must be confirmed during, or before squad announcement.

Lineups

Playing XIs are required to contain at least one wicket keeper (:wk:/:wkb:/:arwk:) and six bowling (:arwk:/:bwl:/:ar:) options.
Designated captain (:c:) at the start of the tournament can not be replaced or dropped unless injured or unavailable.

Please mark your wicket keeper with †/:wk: and your bowlers with ^/:bwl:.

Format

The 2003 Arab Cup will be played in a single round-robin format with all five participants put into a single ladder.
Group winners will advance directly to the final, whereas the second and third-best teams will play each other in the semi-final.

Tie Breaker

In case of a tied match; a bowl-out will be used to determine the outcome of the match.

Five bowlers from each side will deliver one ball each at an unguarded wicket (three stumps).
If each team hits the same number of wickets after five attempts, the bowl-out will continue into sudden death.

Player Injuries

Injuries are randomly simulated to give this league somewhat of a realistic feel.
Players that play without a rest are more likely to get injured.

Following are the types of injuries that can occur:

* Can play with a 25% ratings decrease; 50% chance of developing a Degree 2 injury
- Heals fully after a one-game rest

* Can play with a 50% ratings decrease; 75% chance of developing a Degree 3 injury
- Heals fully after a two-game rest

* Out for one game; instantly made unavailable
- Can play one game early with a 50% ratings decrease upon return. Heals fully after a two-game rest.

* Out for two to three games; instantly made unavailable
- Can play one game early with a 25% ratings decrease upon return. Heals fully after a three-game rest

* Out for four to five games; instantly made unavailable
- Can play one game early with a 10% ratings decrease upon return. Heals fully after a five-game rest
