Champions League 2014 *CSK wins the title !!!*

The 6th edition of the Champions League Twenty20 tournament (CLT20) was held in India from September 13, 2014 to October 4, 2014. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) played the first match of the group stage on September 17. The final, on October 4, held at the Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore was between the same 2 teams. CSK won the final, beating KKR by 8 wickets.

Venues :- Mohali, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Raipur.

Speaking of the real topic,KXIP has good chances among IPL teams,just for the dream run they had in IPL(except finals).Could not avoid KKR,just because they won IPL.MI doesn't really stand a chance and CSK... well no predictions on them.I never use to follow Ram Slam,CPL and all so doesn't know much on them.But as the tournament is held in India,I think IPL teams stands more chance.But still with a good period of time for the tournament to arrive no real predictions on Individual performances.

Still disappointed that this competition is so heavily biased towards the Indian teams and no English teams get entry. Wish the ICC had taken control of this first .

It's so heavily influenced by $$$$$ that the result means next to nothing.

according to me and in my mind, ithink why english teams are not included andthe reason is that last year the england cricket grounds were appealed to host matches of clt20 2013 but they rejected the appeal, that's why in previous season of clt20 and still in 2014 english teams are not invited

i think lahore lions have bright chances to qualify the next rounds,coz its having top class players such as m hafeez, shehzad ,akmal, and jamshed etc

@lion100lion, you wouldn't mind editing the thread? Southern Express has qaulified from Super 4's Tournament (Sri Lanka). Now coming to the real topic, I think that all the winning domestic teams from their respective nations should have direct entry, i.e. the winners of BBL, IPL, Ram Slam T20, HRV Cup, CPLT20, Faysal Bank T20 and the Super 4's tournament to equal the competition. You see, the 2nd and 3rd placed teams from IPL have a direct entry, the runners-up of BBL & Ram Slam T20 have direct entry but the winners of HRV Cup, Faysal Bank T20 & Super 4's tournament have to go through qualifiers. I think that it's a bit unfair.

I think Punjab stand a very good chance to actually finally add some silverware, but I still think four teams from the other leagues like CPL or BBL would've made this better, like UEFA more groups the better. That of course depends how many teams the league has.
