2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup - India (UAE/Oman)

Looks like it might be David Wiese or bust for Namibia again.

That is hilarious! Cannot believe this happened in a WC. I always thought those moments are best left for gully (street) cricket. I would actually be happy if Ireland loses to Namibia. I would prefer Namibia over Ireland for sure :p

Realistically I feel this can happen

SF1: Australia v/s India
SF2: New Zealand v/s West Indies

Finals: Australia v/s West Indies
Champions: West Indies (3rd title)

Player of the tournament: Glenn Maxwell (recent form)
Your obsession with Australia is hilarious! Yes, Aussies do bring in the beast mode when its WC time, however again not taking them for granted, Australia are 4th best in that group.

And eventually get bowled out for 39 in Super 12...... So boring!!!!!

Really for happy for Namibia but Ireland were horrible today. Adair's injury further dented the chances, but playing just one spinner in Sharjah (why didn't Stirling or Delany bowl?) was always gonna be disastrous. Craig Young bowled really bad in his last two overs.

Nevertheless, great innings from Erasmus and Wiese.

Stirling got injured as well

It's not related to the WC. I think they've got a good balance in their side. They were literally firing all guns before Covid and were looking really strong. People are just writing them off on basis of recent form is even more hilarious

Finch
Warner
Smith
Mitchell Marsh
Maxwell
Stoinis
Carey
Pat Cummins
Mitchell Starc
Josh Hazelwood
Adam Zampa

I think the Aussies are over-rating Cummins in this form of the game and I would rather prefer Agar in these conditions. But since he is the VC, I don't see him being left out. But, that's the only issue. We have seen more aggressive version of Smith in recent years while Marsh is unbelievably consistent off-late. Maxwell just looks in incredible form this year while Stoinis took DC to the Finals in 2020 IPL which happened in UAE playing at 6. They can be serious contenders if they can just turn that switch.

This is it man! We cannot call new teams playing World Cups boring. On one side we criticize that we do not give smaller nations a chance to compete and on other side we call the cricket they play boring. The 39 bowled will keep happening if we do not give them chance.

I am 90's kid, I have actually seen what it means when Bangladesh won against India in 2007, Ireland won against Pakistan in 2007. Those wins actually started a push for the rise of smaller nations. I dont think you even saw your first match back then? Remember next World Cup will be 20 team instead of current 16.

No its not boring when a smaller nation takes on a giant. If it was upto me, these qualifiers would not happen. All the 20 teams(starting next world cup) would be divided into 4 groups of 5.

Group A - India Pakistan Ireland Oman, Zimbabwe
Group B - South Africa England Scotland Netherlands, Nepal
Group C - Australia West Indies Bangladesh Namibia, Some team
Group D - New Zealand Sri Lanka Afghanistan Papua New Guinea, Some team

Appreciate you no mentioning England's many defeats to smaller teams. :D

I am so excited to see what the other teams would be next year. Cricket has definitely grown to more countries thanks to Asian immigrants. Its not far when China on gun's point will ask fellow border countries players to play for them :p to become a cricketing giant. Only USA or China can take on India's money dominance.
