Well thats what you get with India and Pakistan teams with cricket.

There is a lot of emotions involved and you get get to see both Joyous and anguished side for both viewers,media and analysts.

Reckon the same is with your football when upcoming youngsters are racially abused for missing penalty in euro Finals and lot of backlash on a first round wc exit.

Speaks a lot about passion involved when such scenario occurs.

There was absolutely no vision when going into this WC! They went in with players that displayed clear lack of form in the tournament that just preceded the tournament and I’m not surprised they faltered.

On a side note, why BCCI did not give the license to Big Ant. Cricket 22 would have been superb had the license been given.

On a cricketing note for India, I won't say write them off completely, the coach should be changed. The captain should be more wiser and calm like Dhoni and Gangualy rather than the one who is way much driven with aggressiveness and bit panic on the field. It's kinda strange an year back the analysts were comparing VK with Ricky Ponting as Captain.

The thing is MSD was there as Mentor as well. The resources and equipment were well and ready however the body language of the Indian team yesterday was quite lethargic and the intent wasn't there at all. They were unable to play with the bat. Maybe, all went out of Form in one go, the main batsmen and bowlers.

The core of this side is built around the Mumbai Indians side from IPL. When they missed the Playoffs a month back, it should've given alarms to the board and some wise changes should've been made but instead they decided to go ahead with it. This talks about how they are working.

Absolutely, that's exactly what it is. Cricket is but a religion in the subcontinent, and people take it's results as a 'matter of life or death'; which is quite unhealthy.
