Everyone’s forgetting that the team did play dynamic, aggressive T20 cricket in the bilaterals leading to the series. To a fault even in the Asia Cup. They’ve just reverted to type in the WC.

I’d keep Pant in and give him backing and a clear role for him. Ask him to play there in the IPL too. He’s not going to benefit from this rotation policy.

It feels like England just bowled better. I don't think it should be an excuse in this day and age, but I wonder how much helps that all the England line up (except maybe Woakes) have played BBL in addition to International series. I think India were definitely too cautious, Hardik really got them into the match but it looked like when the pressure of a semi or a slow start India reverted to their comfort zone. Didn't attack the spinners either.

Virat doesn't get a chance here Bro. Just winning you that singular game vs Pak and stat padding the rest of the time doesn't give him automatic immunity.
