"I'd like to firstly thank the Warriors, what a game, clearly the most exciting FC final we've ever been a part of. You should be proud you made it this far, bad luck. To all our sponsors, especially Melbourne Bitter who've been with us from the start, and the competition sponsors too. I'd like to thank our fans (fans roar in excitement) it's great to have you all down here, you've been fantastic from the very start. Finally, to the boys, especially aussie1st and rickyp, you two have been here since the start, especially rickyp who founded this club, it was a real honour to play with you guys, this one's for you. And to the rest of the boys, it was a difficult run, but we played hard, plenty of spirit, and we are the mighty bitters! Four-Peat Premiers!!! (crowd go nuts)

Commentators: Yes well some of the players getting very emotional, rickyp is fine but aussie1st looks a mess, he's happy and sad, the end to a great career for two of the finest bowlers in the league, and that man there on screen, their captain aus5892, who took over from rickyp when he stepped down last year, they were a fearsome opening combination, and they tasted glory a total of 4 times. The team are celebrating together, they're ecstatic, The Spin is smiling, even though he and aussie1st were competing for a spot back in the day, he's going to miss the opportunity to bowl in tandem with him on a dusty pitch. And brad352 has broken down in tears, he and aussie1st used to be great mates off the field, and he is absolutely a mess, this is incredible scenes, as they do a lap of honour, they'll go home satisfied tonight.

We are very glad to have reached the final of the FC Cup. The team spirit during the whole season was awesome. And with some very close matches, it was an exciting season.
