Online Cricket Games Owned
I know I said that you guys should try a Kickstarter if you wanted a really bona-fide cricket simulation. We're always going to have to cater for the mainstream as a major concern in order to get the sort of sales numbers you need to sustain a console cricket game.

HOWEVER.

Back in the day, we had a brainstorming session and tried to come up with the mainstream cricket games to end all mainstream cricket games.

And I have now managed to track down the artwork we had for the resulting concept.

Ladies and (more likely) gentlemen... I give you...

SUPER IAN BOTHAM.

Now Kickstart THAT.

That's funny chief, does it have lots of blood.:p
Being serious, most of us understand you need to make the game mainstream. I feel the difficulty levels is the real answer here.
Also smart ai, p.s is Botham your favourite, if yes maybe we need
Botham vs Ian Chappel second wave.:lol:clap:thumbs

It's OBVIOUSLY an First-Person-Batter. A new genre, but one with legs.
In several quick-time-events you had to reverse-sweep a SHARK to the boundary.
It was pretty powerful.

I have also found the artwork for the sequel, but that's a PS4 exclusive so I can't reveal it yet. Sony probably want to keep it as a surprise for E3.

Can't wait for Super Botham vs Chappel on PS4, game of E3 i say, who
needs GTA5.:p

No, the spider and the tank make it clear you're serious.

For realzies.

It's going to be like GTA, but with more stuff in it.

Just working out the business case, but I think we're going to be looking at somewhere around the $70m mark to do it full justice. If we hit the $80m stretch-goal I think we can add Devon Malcolm as a playable character for co-op.

I think you should give us some kind of timeline or perhaps, a countdown till the next announcement for the game. That would be a rather gentle distraction to deal with all the impatience. How about that Chief? :D

Is $70m the budget or the RRP?

Once the kickstarter is funded and we have our $70m to make the game (a formality one would have thought) we'll make a decision on how much to charge (I would have thought price to be irrelevant to people: it's a MUST BUY at ANY RRP)...
