Just thought i'd post a message to share with you all the successes that i'm currently enjoying with Lancashire. This game was started by a guy a lot of you on Planetcricket will know of by the name of 'Zain'. And then more recentley i was given the game file by a guy called 'afridi118' and have now stamped my own mark on the game. For instance a few seasons ago i won a clean sweep, every competion in sight (and yes, before you ask it is on normal skill level). Ok i admit i have millions of cash and lots of quality players at my disposal, but last season i won that clean sweep without training my players, hardly any physio and simulating/skiping all the matches.

The effects of training are quite stunning actually. I started a new International Career with England about a week ago, picking some youngsters with aims of making a world-beating side within a few years. I wasn't expecting much from Stuey Broad in the World Cup and I didn't get ANYTHING until the super 8s. All through the tournament he'd had bowling technique training and by the time my young team reached the Sirlis in the final Broad seemed to be raring to go...He ended up taking three wickets in the final, as well as two 5-wicket hauls in the Supers an knockouts. The moral of this story...TRAIN FREDDIW TRAIN MAN!! :whip

Yeh Training makes great difference to youth of below age of 23.

I'd say you can train them beyond 23, I would give technique to anyone under 27 really unless you have better youth prospects, in which you would give them the technique training.

Yeh first technique followed by batting and bowling practise.
