How do you extract the GOB file???? is there a particular program you must use to do this??? I'd be interested in giving it a go. As I'd really like to be able to edit the files etc, eg the players faces and stuff like in Cricket 2002.

Aite guyz sorry for not replyin for such a big time, amywez the program that I used was called "dragonz unpacker v5" it reads the Pak file in 1 go n u can change it but we all know who carez bout commentary

n as for the GOB flle juss go File>Open n try opening it
keep in mind it didn open it for me the first time n then I tried iit again juss out of deseperation n it worked then u go under Formats tab n klik on all n then search u will kno wot I mean when u download the proggie

it took my computer an hour to read it so be patient n then wen it read it completely it cudn free up the sources it was using cuz sum other proggie was using it 2 so my CPU froze n I realized I had wasted a complete hour

so anywez give it a try I m gonna do tht tomo n juss look around the net who knoz u may have way better luck then me

the minimum requirements are i think 800mb

i think the disc is a DVD rom

Ok I have just downloaded the program Dragon Unpacker v5, now what do I do??? I sound so dumb, I had a look at it, but it doesn't seem to work when I try opening the GOB File, it appears not to be working.

What should I do??

I really appreciate your work.You are doing some work to make the things easy for coming days.Complete your job then you can guide and tell us how to go furthre.

Definately this game needs a lot of editing to keep it alive.As Fifa 2004 which is considered one of the most refined game of Ea sports was severely criticized by people and it is tremendously being edited throughout year untill next version comes in.

Hi ppl,

I was able to open the .GOB file using the Dragonz Unpacker and its filled with a lot of .wav files, .png files and a huge .mov (quicktime) file. The files r getting extracted too rite now and I'll be able to to tell u more abt it when i am done.

Here's the amazing thing .... the .PAK file is filled up with a whopping 9259 files. I'm attaching a screen showing some of the files.

Vineet, you are in for a party with C2K4 if you wish to edit it. The files are of the same format with a little additions, have a look with Hex edit the c2K4 exe.

kewldude how did u open the gob file??? tell me wexactly how coz i tried 10-15 times...it doesnt work....it says no driver could load this file....but i can extract the pak file!!

Download the latest DragonZ from its website. And the files didnt open on the first try for me too. Just keep trying and it opens eventually.
