WTF is with the sudden influx of these comparison threads? I've not really been active on these forums for the last couple of weeks, and I come back to read the forums this evening and the Cricket Discussion section is flooded with comparison after comparison. They can be somewhat interesting every blue moon, but there have been so many posted in the last few days that are really of no interest; they're comparisons that really don't need to be brought up. They're not hot discussions on everyone's tongues, like a Sachin vs Ponting or a Warne vs Murali comparison, the majority of them aren't even close comparisons like those aforementioned 2.
There are 9 comparison threads on the first page ffs. What's happened to interesting cricketing discussion? Surely it's possible to discuss cricket without the need to compare player A vs player B? I thought we'd got over the comparison phase on here but it's come crawling back with a vengeance. Sort it out lads.
