Pakistan's Shahid Afridi became the batsman with the most number of sixes in one-day internationals in the first final of VB Series against Australia on Friday.

The six that he hit off Shane Watson was 189th of his career which took him past Sri Lankan Sanath Jayasuriya's tally of 188 sixes.

Afridi is crazy, that is a guy who u need in a ODI match, he doesn't waists bowls, he scores like more than double the amount of runs for the amount of balls, he is the best batsmen to watch, anyone pro batsmen can play slow like tendulkar, but to see a guy who can do that so fast; fours after fours is seriously impressive, what do you expect he is a pakistani he is full of surprises!!!!!!!!

The only probelem with afridi is that he is really inconsistant and if he can continue what he is doing recently he would be the best batsmen ever!!!!!!!

Freddie will get there, and will get to the top 3 atleast.

The problem is that England dont play as many ODIs as the subcontinental teams.

Well...what do you expect.... its Afridi. It was bound to happen.

If you want crude cricket but exiciting cricket -- watch Afridi
If you want classy cricket and exciting cricket -- watch Tendulkar or Lara

My dream team would include both Afridi and Tendulkar ( or Sehwag )

If u look at Afridi's recent record, he is averaging 35 in ODIs since the start of the 04/05 season. And the strike rate has been a demolishing 150!! Now I think there is some consistency in that!
