Paul,
Can U make the fielders more aggressive in test and one day level. Currently the fielders are in test and one day level are not so aggressive because they hardly stop any boundries.Paul and sangamm can u make fielders stop boundries like they do in CRICKET 2002.
Waiting for your reply.

Each fielder, ie. slip,gulley,close-in or normal has captures assigned to them, ie. a slip fielder will perform a certain type of catch, i have not yet worked out how to change the capture sequences assigned to each type, only the captures themselves. this is the reason we can not move the wicket keeper, or can we?, it has a pre-assigned position for each bowler in the settings file {i think}. one thing you can try is altering outfielders to gulley type, making all attributes excellent and increase throwing speeds
regards,Paul

I agree that the fielders are not aggressive enough. Not only re stopping boundaries, but especially re run-outs. I have never run-out the computer, and in all the matches I have played against the computer, one of my fielders has hit the stumps with a direct hit only three times (and each time the computer never even attempted a run). Is there any way to change this? E.g. making the computer take more risky runs, especially when it desperately needs to increase its run-rate? I think run-outs would add so much more to BLC!

Strange that - I regularly get 3 or 4 run out in an innings, get frustrating as I want to think the batsmen out!

manna: use Sriram's field editor and place a widish gully outside the circle. I managed to get several third umpire decisions and on couple of occassions, the CPU got run out. But I agree the CPU almost never takes risky runs.
Need to dig into those .cfg files...
