hi there,

a simple short question:

There are many ODI patches out there and some very good one, but
"which of the TEST AI patches is the most realistic at the moment?"

please give if possible also a link to the patch, if it is deep in someones AI thread.

thx in advance Akira2291

Ravi's test patch is the best imo.

Just do a search saying "ravis patches" and you'll find a thread that was started by a member called "Punter" or something. You'll find the patch there.

:)

whoa, so fast answers, thx at you two. ive tried the boss patch and have already written my app in his thread. his ODI patch is really good but i cant play well with the test patch included in his CGPv4. i will search for ravis, Radaga's and tutsis and try it. thx again for your fast answers. :)

Tutsi 8.0

If you want the almost 'close to realism' cricket while you play, go for Tutsi 8.0 patch for test matches. It has almost the perfect realistic international cricket gameplay. The CPU scores according to its strengths and it scores around 100 or over runs in a session, etc. And batting will not be very easy for you! Go out and try it for tests. You will be pleased with it

Tutsi 8.0 Patch

The only problem I have with Tutsi's patches are that the cpu can be bowled out for a very low score.

thx again for your two replies. i have firstly the same problem as gold, second i tried a few hour ago tutsis patch in a test. i played 5 overs and get 44/0. i think my score should be lower isnt it?! also i try always the autoplay before playing any patch. i have played two time a 3 matches test IND (me) vs PAK. PAK couldnt score more than 180 on any innings. i won via autoplay everytime excepted one time with an innings. that isnt also realistic, i think. i have tried also the other patches by ravi and boss, but i think this is a main problem. i can only play a serious match with IND again AUS. PAK could score anything in test (which isnt very realistic, if i see the pakistanis today ..). what do you buddies think about this? am i wrong, then tell it please.

thanks Akira2291

Oh sorry to mention. I rarely use the advance down the wicket shots (i.e. with or without the power button!). That adds lot of realism to the game! Did you try it and still getting such big scores. And always, at the start, you will get easy runs but as it goes on, the cpu starts bowling tighter.

:D , no im not using the advance shot button to attack. i only use the frontfoot and backfoot shot button to score runs. (i also try not to take runs when i defend - although i could and score near everytime minimum 1 run) ... its also funny that i play only the advance shot around 10 - 15 times in a hole 50 over match and this shots only to defend . but back to your point :D , im realy rarely using this shot. im sorry, but i couldnt mention in time that the CPU is bowling after a few overs tighter, maybe youre right, but the only thing (in my opinion) which changes is the fielding after 15 overs and so the agressive batting should be played with an other style then before. BUT: im really happy to see you buddies answering my question and saisrini80 there doesnt have to be a sorry, we are all buddies here and im gratefull for your comment. thx mate

So far, Tutsis patch 8.0 is the best for test matches. The cpu scores around 3 an over , starts slow and then gets aggressive.Edges are there to be had but arent easy. The cpu plays a lot of overs so matches actually go into a 4th and 5th day. The cpu can still be bowled out for around 250-350. I am just trying bosses test match patch. The cpu definitely scores at a faster rate , but it is also easier to bowl them out .
