Hiya all,

After a rebellion from my team mates:p and also personal commitments have caused me, the manager and captain of Pakistani Legends, to step down and hand the role over to someone else. I hope, whoever it is, they do a good job.
I have had a great time though, as both the manager and captain of PL, and will remember it for years to come.

Therefore I will be leaving the team after the end of this playing season and will make myself available on the TL if any other team wants to have me, if not than i will still remain with PL and will be available for selection.

So once again i would like to say that i have had a great time here at PL and it will always remain in my heart where ever i go;)...

The next Captain/Manager of PL will either be Zmario or Treva. You can vote for one of them by going to the PL 2006/07 thread.

Thanks for reading,
Bilal91

I'd like to run as skipper :)
If you want your team to crumble into an oblivion of eternal ineptitude from which you can never escape, this is your man. I second his nomination.

well i think the minimum requirement to run for the skipper is to at least be in the team...lol...

That would be, of course, be the requirement in all other cases, but this man transcends these requirements through his commitment and dedication. I assure you, he will not rest until he brings down your team.

Naw, ever heard of a takeover? I'll just be skipper on paper, pay the wages, and watch from the balconey. Oh, did I mention the 5-star dressing rooms?

Didn't I tell you? Look, he's already thinking up ways of improving your team.

lol...well at least you are a active around here, unlike most of the players in PL...

Right, thats the first issue. 'Pakistani Legends' isn't my style. I'll probably re-name them 'Zorax's band of wannabe club cricketer'. And then the second issue is the players. I wasn't thinking so much 'Players' as 'Remote-controlled Robots'...

Holy snaps, looks like an exodus is taking place. No one's resignation was as sexily presented as mine, though. Though officially, it is still "pending".

lol this is all suddenly rather random and off topic :)..

but umm yeah good luck too you Bilal if you change clubs but it would still be great if you stuck around at PL s your experience can be a mentor too all new players :)

And incase everyone didnt know, the vice captain of the Legends (yours truly) is also stepping down and leaving himself open to offers, no point making a new thread when my captain did it for me ;)

Bilal, I will like to take you on behlaf of Indian Warriors :)

Thought about doing the same thing with the Donkeys many times. Problem for me was that in the team budget I could only afford 11 robotic cricketers OR the playstation version of Who Wants to be a Millionaire?

Once I knew all the questions it got a bit tedious, but I still think I made the right decision. Sorry if I may have dragged this thread off-topic, sorry to see you step down Bilal and it was entirely unintentional to go off-topic.

A kidnapping? Well, I didn't see that twist to the tale coming! ;)
