Ohh.

This is the worst thing ever. Everyone has been waiting for this game and its early days and already people are saying its far too easy and unrealistic.

What a shame. Its broken so many hearts, mine included.

Im not going to buy this game, instead Ill stick with my patched up Cricket 07 which is actually really good now and Im getting really good realsitic results and realistic in-game events. Ive just adjusted slightly aki's gameplay patch and edited his roster a bit and its perfect. If anyones interested Ill give you my stroke configs, roster and edge values.

Luckily my housemate loves cricket and we play cricket 07 against each other every day!! Its ill.

Im playing a single player world cup and its actually a great challenge!

Cricket 07 at least has domestic and national second teams.

I'm definitely buying. I loved the demo and i'm sure i'll love the full game. I have to admit, i'm not the world's greatest player, so i'm sure the difficulty issue won't affect me for a while, if at all.

On the last BLIC I seriously struggled on the hardest difficulty.

Is the hardest difficulty in the new demo and game as hard as in the last game. That would be good.

But the issue of opening with spinners is f*#ked

I will definitely buy it. Not completely new game but enough for me to buy it. EA games are really not accepted. Of course the AI what people are saying and some bugs would be there. But overall it should be ok for me .

i doubt im going to buy it after reading all the reviews. im still enjoying EA 2007 and i found BLIC 05 far to easy so i can see this wont challenge me and i dont have a strong enough internet connection to play online.

I'll still be getting it so I can play online and against a mate of mine who I played a lot of 2005 with. Shame though that the single player side of the game is unlikely to provide much gametime.

I bought it, but will be taking it back on Monday. It's just too bugged to be playable (see the Bugs page and my list of a few of the ones there). Even on test level (the hardest setting) the AI is woefully poor, and the on-line options (which is really what I bought it for) are dreadful - no way to see your stats (games played, won/lost, runs scored, highest scores/wickets etc.), no way to see the standard of your opponent in advance, no penalty for quitting out of games (shocking!).

Seriously, if you haven't bought it, don't. Really don't. Not until they release a finished version, which has actually been play tested. Anyone on this forum could have told them what needed fixing before release - God knows why no-one who works for them could.

After the reviews I have read, I think I'll stick with EA. I didn't like BLIC 2005 that much and apparently this is worse
