Artist's Impression, WC 2007 Stadiums

I love the National Cricket Stadium in Grenada, looks very professional.

But from a modeller's point of view have you noticed that the pitches are all circular in the artist's impressions?
And what would be wrong with that?

Hmm... I couldn't find a circular pitch.
Impressions look nice. I'm sad because even if I end up going to the World Cup, I will only be there for the practice matches, because that is what my spring break lines up with.

Well, you'd be able to visit the Providence Stadium atleast.
That would be the one used along with another one, can't remember the name now.

Nice artists impressions. Nice to see most or all of the stadiums still maintain the unique carribean type of atmosphere and design to the grounds. To those who said Asia had poor facilities, the carribran grounds facilities are also not up to the standards of Aus, NZ, Sth. Africa and England, but these impressions have highlighted that by the time the world cup is hosted, all of the stadiums will have top notch facilities.

These stadiums look stunning. Its nice to see that most of them have bank areas. They are truly beautiful cricket grounds. I hope they manage to finish them and make them look as nice as on the drawings. The World Cup is drawing nearer. I cannot wait.

Actually it is an ocean. Arnos Vale is in St Vincent by the way.

Here is a pic I found floating around on cricinfo

The airport is in the foreground and the stadium is in the background surrounded by the beautiful ocean.
ahhhh.........what a sight.........

All those staduims look really stunning, I really like the Kensington oval, Sabina park, Lara, and the sir Viv-richards stadiums.
The atmosphere will be really passionate. Hopefully I'll be going to the world cup next year, to witness some great cricket played, and to see these new beautiful cricket stadiums.
