I don't think it'll be close to game of the year, Uncharted 3 or Skyrim will steal that award.

Still really looking forward to it though, it's a must buy for me along with Uncharted 3, Skyrim and Battlefield 3.

DA2 had a much shorter development cycle and Elder Scrolls is a series you can trust.

Even Shorter games can be fun if they are made properly. Witcher 2 is a prime example. Its very short compared to the Original game but its experience was awesome.

By shorter development cycle I mean the game wasn't developed for very long. Witcher 2 was developed for quite a while.

A long development cycle is always good, that's how the best games like Half-Life 2 are made. Shorter development cycles tend to give you regurgitated rubbish like in Call of Duty.
