I am still writing my Twenty20 essay and have a fair amount of words to write to get it finished by Thursday afternoon. The section I am currently writing is on the Australian domestic scene and how Twenty20 cricket has impacted that. It's not a massive section, in fact it's one of my smallest, but I'd love to be able to shove in some quotes with opinions from Aussie fans.

So, if you wouldn't mind, could a few of you Aussies give me a sentence, or two, so that I can quote you in my essay?

Q: Has Twenty20 cricket had a positive effect on the Australian domestic scene?

Your help will be much appreciated.
Cheers.

Twenty20 cricket has had a huge impact on Australian Domestic cricket since the first KFC Twenty20 Big Bash. It's drawn the most crowds ever seen at domestic games since it burst onto the scene. Its a huge family favourite with most matches starting in the afternoon, perfect for the parents to take the kids to for 3 hours. Added with the decent ticket prices and a very competitive competition, the KFC Twenty20 Big Bash has rejuvenated domestic cricket interest across Australia. It's easily the most watched version of the game these days especially with the new rule of teams being able to sign an overseas player every season.

Twenty20 cricket has been responsible for the reinvigoration of Australian Domestic Cricket crowds, especially in the later stages of the 21st century. However, it hasn't been completely positive, with an ever expanding fixture taking up a month of the local season, and with an expanded tournament on the horizon, Twenty20 threatens to take over local Australian cricket.

:)

Thanks boys, both will be added to my essay. Still room for more, so I thank in advance to those who post over the next few hours whilst I'm at college.

It's this extended project thing. I had started it to do a film with a mate but he bailed so I've had to rush together to write this essay on Twenty20 cricket. It would have counted towards my grades needed for Stafford uni but I haven't put it down as one of my two choices, so effectively it means nothing apart from looking good on the cv. Really screwing up my revision for other subjects though.

I think by allowing each state to have a couple of overseas players had had an effect as well. Let's face it 40,000 at the MCG for a domestic game says it all. All games at the Adelaide Oval were sold out
