Aboriginals 50 years ago were treated like dirt, they werent even recognised as human beings in this country. You obviously havnt even heard or readany of the policies the Australian government have in place back then. The only reason some are 'drugos' as you say is because they NEVER has any opputunuties in life. Alot suffer from depression as their families were ripped apart by the white man.
Anyway its great to see Kev saying sorry. Finnally white Australians and Aboriginals can move forward togethor as there has been that massive division between us.

Interestingly, I was listening to the radio yesterday during the apology, and one of the aboriginal people they interviewed on the radio said something like 'My mother was an alcoholic, and my brother tried to rape me, so I suppose being taken away wasn't too bad for me.'
Aside from the fact the radio really need to check stories with people they're interviewing before they interview them, there might have been a few situations like it. But, the apology was an obvious thing to do, seeing as the aboriginals have been asking for it for so long, and Kevin Rudd will have gotten a lot of supporters out of doing it. It still bewilders me why John Howard didn't just say it, it was that obvious of a thing to do.
